A woman simply wanted to have a rescue dog to accompany her and her son in the house but she got so much more than she bargained for. We’ve said t before and we will say it again, save a dog’s life and he might as well save yours.
Danielle Zucker, a former Navy nuclear scientist, adopted Thor, a rescue, but the rescue dog ended up saving her life instead. Danielle suffers from a bad case of seizures due to a spinal cord injury and she can’t predict when it attacks. There was a time her kid had to call 911 because she fell in the bathroom and hit her head.
“I’ve actually fallen in the shower, and my son had to call 911 because I hit my head,” she said.
But it’s different now; every time Danielle is about to have a seizure, Thor warns her by jumping on her lap and barking like crazy.
“I feel so much more comfortable, going out in public and going to do things, because when you’re an epileptic, you don’t have control over your owhttp://justallthingsdog.com/rescue-dog-saves-life/2/n body,” she said.
“I didn’t know what was going on, I thought something was maybe wrong with him, and about 10 to 15 minutes later I had a seizure,” she added.
It’s amazing how these two found each other. Danielle saved Thor and now he’s looking out for her. Danielle had eight seizures in the last two months alone, and all those times Thor successfully warned her 10 minutes to 15 minutes before it happens.
