I really can’t hold back my tears whenever I read this comic.
It’s not the most well-drawn work but it’s message really is right on spot. If you have owned many dogs in your life, you have probably faced the difficult decision of putting down a dog at one point in your life. It’s not the best feeling in the world but you could only hope that perhaps your dog felt the way the dog in the comic did before he passed–thankful, happy and satisfied.
This comic gets me every time. That feeling when you’re driving your dog to the vet to put him down …because it’s the humane thing to do, the right thing. It’s always heart wrenching.
